Сохраняется актуальность исследования взаимосвязи цифровой активности с когнитивными и эмоциональными характеристиками, иными параметрами жизнедеятельности подростков в нестоличных регионах России.</p><p>Цель исследования — изучить структуру цифровой активности подростков и ее связь с когнитивными и эмоциональными характеристиками, школьной успеваемостью и социально-демографическими факторами.</p></sec><sec><title>Методы</title><p>Методы. Участники — учащиеся 8–11-х классов средней общеобразовательной школы. Цифровую активность определяли путем очного заполнения подростками опросника в онлайн-формате. Учитывали использование социальных сетей, поиск информации и просмотр видео в сети интернет, общение в мессенджерах, игры с применением электронных устройств. Когнитивные характеристики (память, мышление, исполнительные функции, обработку сенсорной информации, чтение и речь, понимание эмоций, принятие решений), а также эмоциональное состояние подростков (тревожность) оценивали клинические психологи с помощью батареи тестов. Школьную успеваемость определяли по итогам ближайших к моменту обследования завершенных учебных четверти/семестра. В числе социально-демографических факторов учитывали регулярную внешкольную физическую активность и состав семьи (полная/неполная).</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Обследованы 438 подростков. В будни более 5 ч в сутки с цифровыми устройствами проводят 53 (12%), в выходные — 133 (30%), во время каникул — 147 (34%) опрошенных. В структуре цифровой активности подростков в будни (≥ 1 ч) превалирует активность в социальных сетях (63,5% опрошенных), меньше подростков прибегают к поиску информации или просматривают видео в сети интернет (47,3 и 42,9% соответственно), около трети (34,9%) играют с использованием электронных устройств. В выходные и во время каникул структура цифровой активности меняется. Обнаружены различия между активностью поиска информации и объемом кратковременного запоминания, пониманием контекста вербальных посланий, уровнем выполнения вербально-логических операций. У подростков с разным уровнем компьютерной игровой активности выявлены различия в скорости сенсомоторной реакции, точности зрительно-пространственного запоминания, количестве ошибок при скоростном чтении, темпе чтения, в понимании основного смысла текста. Выявляется более низкая школьная успеваемость по алгебре, геометрии, литературе при высокой компьютерной активности, высокий показатель личностной тревожности при средней активности поиска информации в будние дни и средний уровень ситуативной и личностной тревожности при низкой активности просмотра видеороликов.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Большее время цифровой активности школьников 8–11-х классов связано с негативными оценками когнитивной деятельности и школьной успеваемости. Исключение — высокая активность по поиску информации и нулевая компьютерная игровая активность.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Background</title><p>Background. The study of digital activity correlation with cognitive-emotional features, as well as with other parameters of adolescents’ life-activity in non-capital regions of Russian Federation remains relevant.</p></sec><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. The aim of the study is to analyze the digital activity structure in adolescents and its correlation with cognitive-emotional features, school performance and social and age factors.</p></sec><sec><title>Methods</title><p>Methods. Participants are secondary school students of the 8th–11th grades. Digital activity was examined via online survey among adolescents. We took into account the use of social media, information search, watching videos on the Internet, using of messengers, playing games with electronic devices. Cognitive features (memory, thinking, executive functions, sensory information procession, reading and speech, understanding of emotions, decision-making) and emotional state of adolescents (anxiety) were evaluated by clinical psychologists via various tests. School performance was determined by the recent results of the school quarters/semester finished by the time of the survey. Social and age factors included regular out-of-school physical activity and family structure (complete/ incomplete).</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. We have examined 438 teenagers. 53 (12%) respondents spend more than 5 hours a day with digital devices on weekdays, 133 (30%) — on weekends, 147 (34%) — during the holidays. Structure of digital activity during weekdays (≥ 1 hour) among adolescents was the following: activity in social media prevailed (63.5% of respondents), fewer teenagers searched for information or watched videos on the Internet (47.3 and 42.9%, respectively), about a third (34.9%) played via electronic devices. Structure of digital activity changed over the weekend and during the holidays. We have revealed differences between the information search activity and the volume of short-time memory, understanding the verbal messages, and verbal-logical operations level. Adolescents with different levels of computer gaming activity have shown diversity in sensomotor reaction speed, visuospatial memorization accuracy, number of errors in high-speed reading, reading pace, and understanding text basic meaning.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
