Эта тема не столь хорошо изучена в педиатрии по сравнению со взрослой практикой, а педиатры нередко ставят этот диагноз детям раннего возраста без должных на то оснований. В лекции анализируются современные мнения относительно этиопатогенеза, клинической картины, диагностики и лечения синдрома раздраженной кишки у детей.
