ALTERATION OF THERMAL BALANCE: HYPERTHERMIA, HYPERTHERMIC REACTIONS, HEAT STROKE, AND SUNSTROKE

Abstract

Author analyzes an etiology, key components of pathogenesis and symptoms of hyperthermic states: hyperthermia, hyperthermic reactions, heat stroke, and sunstroke, adaptive and pathogenic effects, developing in these conditions, and principles of their etiotropic, pathogenetic and symptomatic therapy.

Key words: hyperthermic states, disconnectors of oxidative phosphorylation, hypoxia, toxemia.
