Известные и неизвестные эффекты витамина D

Аннотация

Проблема дефицита витамина D в настоящее время приобретает особое значение, поскольку, по данным многочисленных исследований, гиповитаминоз D имеется почти у 1/2 населения мира. В статье представлены эпидемиологические данные, касающиеся обеспеченности холекальциферолом детей различных возрастных групп, и определены современные подходы к оценке содержания витамина D в организме. Особое внимание уделено представлениям о метаболизме и биологических функциях витамина D, заключающихся не только в положительном его воздействии на состояние костной ткани, но и во многих внекостных биологических эффектах.
