Аннотация
Статья посвящена 100-летию с момента основания Всероссийского попечительства об охране материнства и младенчества (31 мая 1913 г.), инициатором создания которого стал выдающийся отечественный педиатр К. А. Раухфус. Эта полуправительственная организация, находившаяся под личным покровительством императрицы Александры Федоровны, являлась одновременно и одной из форм объединения врачей в целях борьбы с высокой детской смертностью в России.
