Abstract
In recent years, both in Russia and most economically developed countries there is a growth of illegitimate births. The birth of a child prior to marriage is usually considered as a risk factor for his health. In Murmansk maternity hospitals, there was an assessment of main health indices of 3 newborns groups: born in registered marriage (114 children), in civil marriage (106 children) and born to unwed mothers (103 children). By questioning mothers, the authors have revealed certain medical and social risk factors for their health. It was established that the health of children born in civil marriage is not worse and according to some indices it is even better than the health of children born in registered marriage. According to most parameters, the health of children born to unwed mothers was certainly worse than the health of the newly born children born to mothers in registered marriage. The differences in indices were due to a larger number of medical and social risk factors, negatively affecting the health of the children born to unwed mothers. Misbegotten children cannot be considered as one group of a social risk. We should only refer children born to unwed mothers to the high risk group, while according to the level of health risk children born in civil marriage are comparable with children born to mothers in registered marriage.
Key words: misbegotten children, health of newborns, risk factors.

Abstract
The work deals with the complex research findings of the morbidity dynamics and HIV-infection prevalence among the pregnant women and risk for its transmission from a mother to a child, as well as the estimate of their regular medical check up, antiretroviral prevention of HIV-infection perinatal transmission, health status of children born to HIV-infected mothers and newly-born children within the general population. The research showed that recent years witnessed the steady increase of HIV-infected pregnant women and children born to them. High risk for HIV-infection perinatal transmission still persists. The article describes the reasons for the low coverage of the antiretroviral prevention among the pregnant women. The author gives an estimate of the associated diseases of the HIV-infected mother and health status of the newly born child. The work shows the necessity in development and implementation of the special prevention measures within the antenatal and postnatal regular medical check up of a mother and a child.
Key words: HIV-infected pregnant women and children they give birth to, regular medical check up, health status of mothers and newly born children.

Abstract
Physical growth of children is one of the most important dices for the health status of the younger generation. The study of the children's physical growth and development peculiarities in the changing social and economic conditions is deferred to the key problems of the hygiene and health protection of children and adolescents. The object of the study was he children of Voronezh region. The authors estimated the ain indices of the physical growth: height and body mass. They amined over 12 000 children: 6310 boys and 6242 girls aged between 0 and 14 years, living in the urban and rural areas. Such studies never took place in Voronezh region in a capacity like this, as well as in such a variety of sample and high degree of their representativeness (р < 0,01). The acquired data on the physical growth of children in Voronezh region in the end of the 2nd millennium demonstrates a more favor able situation (towards the capital social and economic sphere) in the region, where the children population under the study resides, if compared with the beginning of the 20th century, as well as the advantage of influence on the physical growth of biological, medical and genetic factors over the social and hygienic ones (lifestyle, environment and etc.).
Key words: physical growth, children, height, body mass.

Abstract
The article provides information on efficiency of different protocols of therapy with cyclosporine and methotrexate for patients suffering from severe systemic juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). it shows that a therapy combining cyclosporine with dosage of 4,4 ± 0,58 mg/kg of body per day and methotrexate with dosage of 8,1 ± 1,07 mg/m2 a week is more efficient than monotherapy with each of the same medications of same dosage. Combined use of immunosuppressants induces remission of articular syndrome and constitutional manifestations, as well as provides normalization of laboratory disease activity indications in more than 50% of cases of long clasting systemic variant of JRA on the average a year after the initiation of treatment. Combining cyclosporine with methotrexat improves the curative action of each of the medications without aggravation of their toxic influence. High efficiency of combining cyclosporine with methotrexate makes enables lowering the dosage of glucocorticoids to be taken orally, as well as not prescribing prednisolone to the severe cases of systemic variant of JRA.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of differential diagnostics for infection and autoimmune nature of the allergosepsis syndrome. In the research, the authors used bramspctq semicquantic tative immunostratographic test to identify procalcitonin, a highly sensitive lab marker for the sepsis and severe bacterial infection growth. They examined 32 patients: 19 of them, suffering from allergosepsis syndrome and having no verified diagnosis, 13 of them, suffering from an inflammation of the systemic (allergoseptic) presentations of the juvenile arthritis. the positive procalcitonin test (over 2 ng/ml) disclosed allergosepsis syndrome among 5 patients and juvenile arthritis among 4 patients. It witnessed the existence of the generalized bacterial infection, as well as it was a sufficient ground for prescription of the antibacterial medications. The negative procalcitonin test (lower than 0.5 ng/ml) was performed among 10 patients, suffering from allergosepsis syndrome, and 9 patients, suffering from juvenile arthritis, witnessed autoimmune nature of the allergosepsis syndrome, as well as it was a sufficient ground for prescription or correction of the immunoreduction therapy. Application of the procalcitonin test among children, suffering from allergosepsis syndrome, allowed for the differential diagnosis between the generalized bacterial infection and active autoimmune process along with the duly prescription of antibacterial and immunoreduction therapy.

Abstract
The search for the new noninvasive and information methods to estimate the intensity of the inflammatory processes during the bronchial asthma is an important task for the modern medicine, pediatrics, in particular. We have examined 20 children, suffering from moderately severe bronchial asthma in remission. patients underwent the induction of the sputum by means of nail hypertonic solution, bronchoscopic examination along with the sampling of the lavage fluid and bronchial biopsy, cytometry of the induced sputum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, morphometric examination of the biopsy samples of bronchi walls, determination of the nitric oxide contents in the expired air. We revealed high self descriptiveness of the cytological characteristics of the induced sputum. High percentage of neutrophiles and eosinophiles in the induced sputum disclosed during remission of the bronchial asthma, as well as thickness increase of the basilemma, ratio distortion of the ciliated and cyathiform cells in the favor of the latter, especially along with the high nitric oxide contents in the expired air indicate the continuous persistence in the allergic respiratory inflammation.

Abstract
Overactive bladder is a specific syndrome characterized by bladder dysfunction that is clinically manifested by imperative urination (pollakiuria, urgency, urgent incontinence and nocturia). This state is very widely spread among children: every fifth child aged 4 to 7 shows typical bladder dysfunction. Quite often if urinary distresses are not studied well enough such children are falsely diagnosed with monosymptom enuresis, which, according to our information, actually happens in only 3,9% of cases. When examining children with urinary disorders it is reasonable to be geared to the protocol of European urologist association. According to this protocol, treatment should be started with antimuscarinimedications. The only antimuscarinic medication for treating children with hyperactive bladder that is legal in Russia is oxybutinin (Driptane), that is presently considered to be the «golden standard» of pharmaceutical treatment of overactive bladder for patients of any age. This statement is based on the modern idea of overactive bladder pathogenesis, that presupposes detrusorhypersensibility to acetylcholine. However, in some cases it might be reasonable to use some other medications, physiotherapy, sometimes as part of complex therapy. If individual dosage is observed, which will enable preventing or significantly lowering possible side effects, oxybutinin will be still considered «the golden standard» for treating overactive bladder for years to come in cases when detrusor hypersensibility to acetylcholine is the key component of bladder dysfunction pathogenesis.

Abstract
The lecture shows the modern state of the pertussis issue among the children. Based on the analysis of the presented data, the authors conclude that vaccination with the full cellular vaccine is rather safe; moreover, it protects the infants from the severe forms of the disease and lethal outcomes. However, the fact that there are children with constant contraindications to immunization with the full cellular vaccine, the change of the circulating B. pertussis serotypes, morbidity of the older children due to the loss of the postcvaccinal immunity define the necessity to introduce revaccination, as well as they are indications to the wider implementation of the non-cellular pertussis vaccine.

Abstract
Calcium takes an active part in provision and development of the motion function (tractions, transmission of the neural impulse, muscle reactions to the neural excitement, change of the hormone activity, realizing together with adenylate cyclase). But no less important is the calcium role in participation of the supporting tissue buildup, organization of the integral child's skeletal system, in which there is 99% of the body calcium. This is a sort of depot, in which the element is in the dynamic equilibrium with its level in blood. The skeletal system acts as a buffer to support the stable level of the calcium circulation in the course of the entire life cycle. The calcium deficit among children should fully be treated, frequently conducting therapy of the accompanied pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and intestinal dysbiosis. We should exclude the hereditary pathology of the calcium exchange. For the usual growth of the human body and prevention of the senile osteoporosis, the necessary amount of calcium consumption should be provided from the very childhood of a person. For the prevention and treatment of the calcium deficit among children, we use specific calcium medications together with phosphorus, magnesium, microelements and vitamins tested in clinical practice and approved by the union of pediatricians of Russia.
Key words: calcium, deficit of major mineral elements, treatment, prevention, children.

Abstract
Complications from the part of the respiratory apparatus are the main reason for the lethality among patients, suffering from mucoviscidosis. The adequate mucolytic therapy is of great importance in the complex treatment of the chronic bronchopulmonary process. In 2004, in Omsk center of mucoviscidosis, the researchers started to regularly apply a new mucolytimedication dornase alfa in treatment of children (Pulmozyme, F. Hoffmann La Roche Ltd., Switzerland). The results of the two year observation showed that dornase alfa may successfully be used in complex therapy of patients, suffering from mucoviscidosis, as well as periodical and chronic colonization of the respiratory tracts by Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

The authors made a comparative efficiency evaluation of the nifuroxazide (enterofuryl) and other nalidixic acid based medications in treatment of the acute enteric infections among children. The authors determined that though they had the equal clinical efficiency (comparable terms for the couping of the disease symptoms) enterofuryl based therapy was accompanied by the activity reduction of the opportunistic pathogenic microflora (in particular, proteolytic cultures) and balance normalization of the aerobic-anaerobic microorganism populations. The application of the nalidixic acid quite on the contrary intensified the metabolic disorders among some of the patients.

Abstract
The purpose of the work is to study the efficiency of the diet therapy against atopic dermatitis by means of the goat's milk based products among children at different age. The researchers observed 188 children aged between 3 months and 18 years, suffering from atopic dermatitis aggravated by the mycotic infection. Patients of the main group (102 children under 3) received goat's milk based products within the hypo allergic diet — «Nanny» and «Nanny — Zolotaya Kozochka» adapted milk formulas, while children over 3 received «Amal Tea» instant goat's milk. The research findings have showed that the introduction of the goat's milk based products into the food ration leads not only to the positive short term results — achievement of the clinical remission on 12th–20th day from the moment the therapy starts, but also to the positive long term effect — remission extension, reduction of the disease recurrences, reduction of the general IgE level in blood serum and offending IgE allergens to the cow milk proteins and casein. Thus, the replacement of the cow milk based products within the ration of patients for «Nanny» and «Nanny — Zolotaya Kozochka» adapted milk formulas and «Amal Tea» instant goat's milk allows for optimization of the atopic dermatitis diet therapy among children at different age.
Key words: atopic dermatitis, diet therapy, goat's milk.

Abstract
To evaluate the status of the cognitive sphere among the children with the lengthy run of the perennial allergic rhinitis and elaborate the therapeutic tactics for the correction of the revealed disc orders, the researchers have examined 108 children aged between 14 and 15 years old. The research included patients with the exacerbation of the moderately severe or severe run of the perennial allergic rhinitis and length of the disease for no less than 3 years. As the basic therapy, the researchers prescribed mometasone nasal spray to all the children (Nasonex, Scheringcplough, USA). Before, in the course of and immediately right after the treatment, all the patients underwent the evaluation of the cognitive functions with the aid of the «binatest» and «mnemotest» test computer systems. The researchers determined the oxygen concentration in blood with handy pulse oximetry OXY 9. The research findings showed that 95,3% of the examined children suffered from the disorders of the cognitive functions. The application of the adequate anti-inflammatory therapy of the perennial allergic rhinitis effectively corrected the changes in the cognitive sphere of the children, suffering from the perennial allergic rhinitis. The oxygen concentration in blood of the children with the perennial allergic rhinitis remained normal at different stages of the disease. Thus, children, persistently suffering from the perennial allergic rhinitis, are recommended to undergo monitoring of the cognitive functions and prompt prescription of the adequate anti-inflammatory therapy of the disease.
Key words: children, perennial allergic rhinitis, cognitive functions, treatment, mometasone.
