Abstract
The researchers give the analysis findings of the hospital mortality indices among infants under 1 year old in the Russian federation within the period from 1993 to 2004. They provide the mortality structure in the obstetric in patient, newborn pathologies departments, as well as other in patient institutions. They showed that the hospital mortality among infants in the Russian federation is characterized by the continuous reduction. The unstable trends are marked in respect of newborn and infant mortality within the first 24 hours from the moment they arrive to the in patient department. Therefore, it is essential to develop the resuscitation services for the newborns. The reduction of the less than 24 hours mortality is possible only if the outpatient care for the infants under 1 year old is improved.

Abstract
A complex examination detected that kalium iodide dosage 100 mkg daily promote a rapid normalization of median of ioduria in children aged 8 to 12 years. Even in a case of normal initial level of ioduria iod active at the same dosage doesn't promote an increase of median of ioduria over than optimum level. It wasn't detected any decrease of goiter frequency during 6 months of prophylaxis, while the level of some cognitive indexes (an attention) and the frequency of absence from school by the reason of acute respiratory deseases significantly increased. It could be concluded, that iodine prophylaxis using iod active is more effective in mild goiter endemia combine to decrease of attention in prepubertal children. In the case of combination of moderate endemic goiter and normal cognitive function kalium iodide is more preferable in prophylaxis in children.

Abstract
48 children with chronic gastroduodenitis aged 9–16 were studied. There was an increased content of nitrogen monoxide derivatives in the blood of gastroduodenitis patients as compared with healthy ones. The increase of nitritebanions concentration is related to H. pylori infection. The increased level of nitrogen monooxide is a defensive reaction of the body to H. pylori persistence. The increased production of nitrogen oxide metabolites leads to an increasing acidity of the gastric juice. A direct link between an increased production nitrogen oxide metabolites and increased acidity of the gastric juice was established.

Abstract
The urgency of atopic dermatitis among children is defined not only the considerable spread of a disease and low quality of life along with this pathology, but above all by such disease peculiarities, as the firm growth of severe incapacitating forms, torpidity towards conventional therapy, continuously recurrent run. In spite of the above said, the regulatory documents still have no such a term, as «disease control», which is why, the objective of the atopic dermatitis therapy has not been defined yet. The absence of «disease control» criteria is accompanied by the incorrect relation between the «severity degree» and «exacerbation» of a disease. In this respect, the main tactics of a doctor, when treating atopic dermatitis, is currently just the therapy of exacerbations. Nevertheless, there are now pharmacotherapeutic modes, allowing one to considerably expand the zone of clinical atopic dermatitis supervision among children during prolonged preventive use.

Abstract
The article is dedicated to diagnostics and treatment of infectious complications among children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, receiving immunosuppressive therapy. The research involves 92 children with different variants of the illness run, who received immunosuppressive therapy. All the patients showed development of the systemic inflammatory response manifestations. The researchers used the definition of the procalcytonine levels as a marker for the bacterial infectiondevelopment. All the patients showed it higher than 0,5 ng/ml, while 7 patients — higher than 10 ng/ml. keeping in mind several courses of the antibacterial therapy in the anamnesis and presence of the combined bacterial infection, ceftriaxone was prescribed to all the children. As a result of the ceftriaxone based therapy, reduction of the clinical and laboratory manifestations of the bacterial infection was noted among more than 90% of patients. The development of the allergic reaction was noted in 1 case, and leukopenia was also found in 1 patient.

Abstract
The article analyzes feeding organization and quality for the children aged between 10 and 16 with the higher level of the bone tissue mineralization. The authors noted down the radical excess of the ration calorie content together with the excess of the protein and especially fat components. The researchers revealed the reduced content of the main vitamins, which contributes to the increase of the bone tissue mineralization levels among children and change in their morphofunctional status with the obesity development. in the given situation, it is necessary to speak of the ration correction according to the main components and distribution of its daily calorie content, as well as the ration supplements by introducing missing vitamins, which the polyvitaminic complexes may prove to be a good alternative to.
